Being born Hawaii and raised in San Diego, living in the northeast can be tough at times. I mean seriously… seasons? Totally overrated. At least once a year I go home to Hawaii to visit my family, eat some onolicious grinds (that’s pidgin for banging grub), and just spend some time with my wife and kids on the beach. This year we were fortunate enough to go twice! Once to celebrate my son’s first birthday with my family and the again to shoot May and Dominic’s wedding.

I was absolutely floored when they asked me to fly out to shoot their wedding. How could I say no to shooting a wedding in Hawaii, at a gorgeous venue, with two people I love? I’ve known May for well over 10 years and Dominic is one of my closest cousins. I’ve seen the love between these two grow every year, and every year I would ask them if they’re finally getting married. Well this was the year. Finally.
